Theme of January: Winter season. The children found a problem with the winter season: "The problem of finding food and shelter where stray animals live in winter." The solution found suitable for the problem situations was to design an animal house. We've also tested heating and food-filled animal houses in real life. We became a home for 20 animals.

Topic "WINTER": anemometer - how to build a wind speed meter.

To learn more about the win, we went to investigate how to make an anometer and built one.

Topic "WINTER": Experiment - How to make rain on a bowl

To carry out the experiment we used a clear glass bowl and plate, hot water and ice.

It was even possible to see the rain form.

Topic: "WINTER" - How are clouds formed?

To better understand how dlouds are formed, we conducted experiments and studies about the water cycle.

The experience was so interesting that we decided to repeat it and invite students from the other 2 kindergarten classrooms to come and see what we were working on.

Topic: "WINTER" - STUDIES ON CLOUDS

To now the types of clouds we look at images, videos and boocks. Then we went out to discover diferent types of clouds.

We build and use a special instrument to help us identify each type of cloud.

After the observation and identification of some types of clouds, a record was made.

Topic: "WINTER" - weather box

To better understant the weather we built sensory bottles corresponding to the diferent weather states that occur on are island. Eachday we select the bottle or bottles that correspond to the weather.

Topic: "WINTER" - weather table (mathematics)

Every day we register and at of the week we analyzed the table as a group (how many days it was cloudy, how many days it rained, what is the most frequent weather during the week, ...)

Our January Topic: "WINTER"

The theme was presented to the students and several questions were raised: What happens in winter? What are the characteristics of this season of the year? What happens in winter ( cold, rain, wind, dark sky).

The weather was that aroused more curiosity and more doubts, so we decided to do studies on the weather.

Our January topic is winter season. In order for Ayşe to go to school comfortably, we put screws under her shoes at the engineering stage so that she could go to school without slipping.
